Sidmouth Arboretum Tree Celebration

RSCG - School Weir Fish Lift

Our team of volunteers will be helping the migrating brown trout to reach their breeding and spawning grounds higher up in the River Sid. At 3m high, School Weir in the Byes in an impassable obstacle on the trout’s migratory journey. Turn up any time during the day to watch our volunteers net the fish and lift them over the weir to give them a helping fin!
